1258. Shaking Machine
Designed for all shaking operations of the laboratory Kahn's racks
bottles or flasks of different sizes can be shaken by adjusting
wooden compartment provided in the tray. The size to the tray is 50
x 32 cms. The rate of motion can be adjusted by the mechanical
arrangement provided in the pulley, Oscillation 275 to 280 per
minute. Complete with 1/4 H.P. motor single phase and 2 meter cable
of three core and workable on 220 V A. C. 50 Hz. |

circuit, operating current starts when dial knob is turned to any
desired interval upto 60 minutes and automatically cuts off when
knob returns to zero and machine will cease to function after expiry

is upward and downward movement at frequency of 270 vibration per

Point Apparatus
Electrically operated, useful for elting points upto 300°C. Consists
of an aluminium block with built in electric heating element. The
aluminium block accepts 3 capillary melting point tubes and a
mercury thermometer. The lamp mounted block is illuminated from
below by a lamp which provides Uniform and shadowless illumination
of the complex tube which are viewed through the adjustable lens.
The temperature is regulated by a rotary switch. ON/OFF switch but
without capillary tubes and without thermometer. The outer body is
of cast aluminium.
