Potentiometers
a) Warping of wooden base: The base is made from plywood. The
grooves are cut under the lower portion of the base, the base is
covered by Sunmica board which not only beautifies it but olso
avoids warping in extreme climates.
b) Loosening of the wire: The nail system has been replaced by
pulley system in ten wire potentiometer.
c) Faulty zero and end settings: The L-shaped end correctors are
given on the strips which adjust both the ends.
d) The Jockey Strips Are made of thick Brass strip which are Nickel
plated. |

a) On polished plywood base with White Sunmica Sheet, having 10
wires of SWG 24, Constantan, connected in series stretched round the
pulleys to give effective length of 10 metres with plated strips &
brass terminals and spring type press jockey.
