1463. New Meter Bridge Model Deluxe
Consists of wooden base 70 cms. long, over which the bridge wire, one meter in length, is doubled over so that all connections are grouped together at the left end for smooth sliding with 2 contact makers, one for each half meter of wire.

 

1464. Potentiometer Slide wire precision
A circular dial gives range from 0 to 1. 7 volts in steps of 0.1 volt. For lower values a large disc engraved in millivolts is provided. Each milli-volt is sub-divided in 5parts. Thus the slide wire division corresponds to 0.0002 volt and readings are obtain. able down to zero.

Two rotary type rheostats for coarse and fine adjustments are provided which ensure rapid and accurate adjustment of the instrument current There are three pairs of terminals for three external circuits which may be connected separately by a three way rotary switch. Terminals are provided for standard cell, galvanometer etc. The instrument circuit resistance is 11 ohms per volt. Accuracy on the normal range. 0.0001 volts ± 0.01 % on the inter range.

 

Resistance Bridges


1469. Kelvin Bridge : RAC Plug type with double ratio box, open plug type, with ratio of 1,10,100, and stretched wire on 500 mm scale, jockey sliding on 5/16” spuare rod heavy terminals. In series with stretched wire of 0.1ohms are plug resistance of 0.1, 0.1, 0.2, 0.2 and 0.5 ohms.
Lowest rsistance 2 x 10-6 ohms. Resistance


measureable with accuracy of 1%, 2 x 10-4 to 2 x 10-3 ohms.
Resistance measureable with 0.2% accuracy 10-3 ohms

 

1470. Precision Kelvin Double Bridge
There are 10 coils of 0.1 ohm each arranged on a rotary dial and a circular slidewire sub-div!ded with 100 equal parts, is in series with 10 coils. Each division of slide wire is equal to 0.001 ohm. Multipliers: of x 10, x 1, x 0.01.
Measurement 1.1 to 0.00001 ohms.
Maximum current 2 amperes.
Accuracy: ± 0.1% Manganin coils are used.

 

1471. Industrial Kelvin Double Bridge
The variable standard Resistance consists of 10 coils of 0.01 ohm each on rotary dial. A circular slidewire subdivided and of total resistance 0.01 ohm is in series with the10 coils. Each division of the slidewire is 0.0002 ohms.
Range Multipliers There are 5 range multipliers of x 100, x 10, x 1, x 0.1, x 0.01.
Measurement: 11 ohms to 0.2 micro ohms. Separate potential and current terminals are provided.
Maximum current: 10 Amperes Manganin coils.
Accuracy: ± 0.05%.
