1472. Anderson Bridge
"RAC" designed for use for measurement of Inductance in terms of capacity and resistance. The Bridge has got the following main features :
1. Two Ratio dials of 10, 100 and 1000 ohm.
2. x10, x100, x1000 ohms.
3. The other arm also got three decade of 10, 100 and 1000 for inclusion in the inductance circuit.
4. Decade Dials xO.1, x1, x10 ohms with terminals for extension of the arm.
5. Terminals provided for AC./Battery, phone, inductance and capacitance.
6. Accuracy ± .05% to ± .1%
Complete in polished teak wood box lid, with headphone and low noise buzzer.

1477. Maxwell Bridge
We can measure self inductance very accurately with this bridge.
Features : The Bridge has got following main features.
1. Two Ratio dials each having resistance of 10, 100, 1000 ohms.
2. The other arm has got three decade dials 10, 100, 1000 for inclusion in inductance circuit.
3. One dial instep, 10 mh to 100 mho (Variacle Inductance) 0 r (variable Inductometer)
4. Decade Dial of x 0'1, x 1x 10 ohms The coils are nonInductively wound and properly aged and heat treated.
5. Terminals are provided for AC Supply/Battery and Head phone and Inductance.
6. A.C. supply source: A low noise buzzer can be used as source.

 

1478. De-Sauty's Bridge RAC
For comparing capacitance in terms of resistance.
The Bridge is designed at its simplest form to give maximum accuracy. The panel comparises.
1. Three Decade dials x 10, x 100 and x 1000 ohms in a arm, forming two arms.

2. Morse Key is fitted in the two arms. The key is internally connected to terminals for connecting Batt. & Galanvometer. Coils heat treated & aged. Accuracy ± .1 % to .05 %

 

1479. Rayleigh's Bridge
Determining the Self inductance. Design of bridge is simple, even a beginner can understand the connections. The main features are:
1. The Ratio Arm is in 2 dials 1, 10, 100 ohms. each.
2. Rheostat arm is in three dials.
3. Circular slide wire of 0: divided into 170 equal parts connected in series with X.
4. A special Double Key fitted bridge is internally connect! with terminals for Galv. Battery
5. Accuracy ± .05 to .1%

 

1480. Wein's Series Resistance Bridge
RAC for measuring the capacity of a condenser through resistance. The Bridge comprises in all 9 dials.
1. 6 dials in two arms known R1 and R2 afms, having R1 3 dials of 10, 100 and 1000 & R2 of 1, 10 and 100 ohms.
2. Two dials R1 and R2 of 4 steps each of 1, 10, 100, 1000 ohms in series with capacity C1 dial of 0'1 x 10 mfd; provided with two terminals for connection.
3. Two terminals for AC mains and two terminals for using detector the bridge are also provided

 

1481. Scherring Bridge RAC
This instrument, is designed for determination"of power factor' of the condenser:
The panel is comprising 9 dials.
1. There are two non-inductive resistance arms denoted as P & Q which are dial of 4 steps of 1, 10, 100 & 1000 ohms each.
2. Three dials of 10, 100 and 1000 forming one arm.
3. Three dials of Standard Capacitance of 0.001 x1 0, 0.01 x1 0 and 0.1 x1 0 mfd.
4. One dial of variable air condenser of 1000 pf is placed in parallel with non inductive resistance Q.
Complete with Audio Frequency Oscillator. of 1 KC/sec. and Head Phone.
