Microscope or Precision Two Dimensional Microscope
Specially designed for measurement of an overall area of 200 sq. cms.
Longitudinal Range 20 cm and transverse Vertical to longitudinal is
10 cm. with threaded rod, which provides micrometer movement.
Micrometer Heads are made of brass and the scales of inlaid strips
of Stainless steel,
The machined Apposing surface of the carriage and the frame are
interground to give a smooth movement free from lateral shit.
Lead Screws of special steel, accurately and carefully lapped which
are moving on bearings. Micrometer Drums are of large diameter to
read directly .001 cm or .0001 cm through a vernier (optional). The
Microscope tube is provided with rack and pinion focusing and with
achromatic optics 2" having 10 x Ramsden eye. piece fitted with
cross-line reticule. The stage is of thick transparent perspex |

MICROMETER SLIDE COMPARATOR
For direct measurement upto 50 mm. in steps of .01 mm. (or .001 mm)
The reading microscope, the slide with the micrometer screw drum
head, and the stage are carried on a sturdy base so that these are
normally inclined at an angle of 45°. Slide moves along a stainless
steel scale and the movements are read directly on drum head to .01
mm. (or .001 mm or .001 mm) through a vernier attached to it. The
micromerer screw and nut are specially aged and normalised to ensure
uniformity and accurate performance with passage of time. The range
of movement 50 mms. Substage mirror in gimbals for reflecting light.
