Interferometer
This instrument is suitable for study of hyperfine structure of
spectral lines and of Zeeman effect.
The metallic components of Fabry-Perot Interferometer are identic to
those of the Michelson Interferometer above and it is therefore
possible to convert into the other by changing the optical parts
alone. |

1676. Optical Bench
Optical Bench Twin Bar Senior Specifications
Bed: The bed is made from , twin precision round tracks held in
strong supports with levelling screws. The bars are ot an ample
cross section and one of the bar is graduated in mm.
Sliders Four sliders are machined Geometric fit on the tracks and
are machined plane on the upper surface to ensure correct vertical
fitting of the pillars. Two of the sliders are provided with the
transverse lateral slow motion.
All the four sliders are provided with hollow pillars of uniform
specifications to take a stem of 3/8" diameter.
Index Marks are provided on all the sliders on strips affixed to
each slider in the same plane. The Optical Bench is provided with
the following accessories which are inter changeable.
a) Universal Lens Holder, 1
b) Spring type Lens " 1
c) Centring Pins.
