1702. a) Torsion Pendulum
A carefully turned disc of C. I. 15 cm. diameter about12 mm. thick
is provided with a split chuck in center. A ring with outside
diameter exactly 12.5 cm. has two cavities in the disc so that the
edge of the ring is flush back with the edge of the disc.
