An ideal instrument for use in biological educational field engaged
in research work. Heavy cast base to ensure rigidity and stability
with protecting aluminium housing. The feed mechanism is independent
of the vertical movement of the object block with evry complete
revolution of the counter balanced drive wheel, the feed pawl
engaged precisely into the teeth of the ratchet wheel, feeding on
the forward stroke. The. ratchet wheel rotates a feed screw which
advance. the cone a measure distance from left to right across the

The feed indicator graduated in micron is conveniently located on
the front which works with the help of cord and pulley system. A
locking device which locks the counter balance device wheel securely
the object blocks stop at the top of its excursion so that
sufficient space for orientation and fixing of blocks is obtained.
Ball and flange type object clamp which accomo date specimen upto
32x27mm. 3 screw locate and rigidly lock the object clamp into the
position. The microtome is finished in chemically resistant paint
and hard chrome to the ether parts. Complete with the following
accessories:
