Demonstration Multimeter : The function and the
circuits can be easily explained to the Students with this
Demonstration Model. The circuit and components are clearly
designated on the front panel so that every function is self
explanatory.
The
zero-centre scale makes the galvanometer suitable for bridge
and potentiometer measurements and the plus and minus on the
scale make it polarity Tester.
It combines the following meters:-
1. Polarity Indicator.
2. Galvanometer
3. DC Viltmeter with four ranges 2, 50, 250 and 500.
4. DC milliammeter and ammeter with ranges 0.25, 10, 250 mA
and 5 amperes.
5. AC Voltmeter with 3 ranges 10, 50 and 500 volts.
6. Ohmmeter with two ranges. |

Lecture Table D.C. Galvo-ammeter ELFO also called
Giant Demosntration Meter: Large in size and exquisite in
design. The scale is 32 cm long with 50 divisions on each
side of he centre zero. Pinter is light, sturdy and easily
visible to the class.
Easily replaceable resistances of varius grades permit the
use of the ranges of 25 Milliamperes and 1, 5 & 25 Amps. As
a galvanometer the instrument is sufficiently sensitive
Complete with shunts and resisntance in a separate Box |

Tangent Galvanometer, ELFO Model UV 310: The
bakelite ring 16.25cm in diameter with 3 windings of 2, 50,
500 or 2, 5, 50 or 5, 50, 500 turns (normally we supply
2-5-50). The magnetometer is fitted on ebonite plate which
is free to revolve in the base of the instrument. The
Magneometer and the ring can both be rotated independently
of the base which is fitted with leveling screws. Compass
box with stone agate bearing needle. |

Stewart and Gee’s Apparatus Deluxe ELFO Model UV
304: To whow variation of magnetic field along the axis of a
coil as describe above but the bench is made of all non-megnetic
netel. A beautiful & most durable app. with compass box

|
|
|
4664
Helmholtz Galvanometer, ELFO Model UV 305: With two
coils exactly alike and parallel to each other so connected
that current passes round them current passes round them in
the same direction. The coils increase the uniformity of the
field at the middle and thus make it more sensitive, with
compass box 4656. |

Dip Circle simple form ELFO Model UV 271: Fitted in
a glass case. A circular scale in wooden box graduated in
degrees is attached to the pillar having the needle. A
pointer is provided for reading the scale on the wooden base
with leveling screws. |
|
|
|
4667
Standard Dip Circle ELFO Model UV 273: Comprising as
extra sensitive on practically frictionless bearing and
moving in vertical plane over an engraved vertical circular
scale on which both ends of the needle can be read. It is
enclosed in a metal case, and can revolve about its vertical
axis on a metal base provided with a circular horizontal
scale and three screws and with agate jewel bearings. |

Earth Inductor, ELFO Model UV 283: Improved form
auto-release. Coil of insulated copper wire is wound on a
metal ring. The cradle supporing the coil is of non-magnetic
cast alloy. It can be placed horizontally or vertically. A
spring is arranged to turn the ring through 180° the coil is
automatically caught. Terminals for connections |

ELECTROSTATICS
4690a Van de Graff Generator : (Hand driven)
This robust and compact machine provides a high p.d.
suitable for all the usual school experiments in
electrostatics.
The large collecting sphere is easily removable and the
construction can be observed.
The charge is placed on the collecting rubber belt by means
of a brush, and when the belt is moved forward, the charge
carried by it, is handed over to the sphere through the
other brush and sphere gets charged. The discharging sphere
is supported on a hinged pillar provided with a handle for
easy adjustment of the spark gap. An earth terminal is
fitted.
Accessories:
For demonstrating the basis principles for Electrostatics
the following accessories are recommended:
a) Pith Ball Pendulum
b) Gold Leaf Electroscope
c) Proof Plane
d) Electrophorus
e) Danish Pith Ball
f) Lighter Tester
g) Conical Conductor
h) Discharger
The machine is supplied complete with belt but without
accessories. |
