4666 Dip Circle simple form ELFO Model UV 271: Fitted in a glass case. A circular scale in wooden box graduated in degrees is attached to the pillar having the needle. A pointer is provided for reading the scale on the wooden base with leveling screws.

ELECTROSTATICS

4690a Van de Graff Generator : (Hand driven) This robust and compact machine provides a high p.d. suitable for all the usual school experiments in electrostatics.

The large collecting sphere is easily removable and the construction can be observed.

The charge is placed on the collecting rubber belt by means of a brush, and when the belt is moved forward, the charge carried by it, is handed over to the sphere through the other brush and sphere gets charged. The discharging sphere is supported on a hinged pillar provided with a handle for easy adjustment of the spark gap. An earth terminal is fitted.
