Test tube clamps, also known as test tube holders or test tube clippers, are laboratory tools used to securely hold and manipulate test tubes during experiments or procedures. They are designed to provide a firm grip on the test tube, allowing for safe handling and precise control.

Test tube clamps typically consist of two jaws that are hinged together. The jaws have rubber or cork-lined surfaces that come into contact with the test tube, providing a non-slip grip and preventing damage to the glass. The jaws can be opened and closed using a spring mechanism or a screw adjustment.

To use a test tube clamp, you position the test tube between the jaws, making sure the rubber or cork lining comes into contact with the tube's surface. The clamp is then tightened to secure the test tube in place. This allows you to hold the test tube without directly touching it, reducing the risk of burns or contamination.

Test Tube Clamps are used to secure test tubes, distillation columns and burettes to the ring stand.
